Welcome to day 2 of FGS 2013! We have a busy day planned.
Conference Registration is open today from 7am to 1pm. This is for walk-ins to register for the conferences and for pre-paid attendees to check-in and pickup your badge, syllabus, special event tickets and more if you preregistered.
ACPL Hours - The Genealogy Center is open from 7am to Midnight. You must be wearing your conference badge in order to enter the library before 9am or after 9pm. Entrance before 9am or after 9pm is through the Plaza Entrance (the doors nearest to the Grand Wayne Center and next to Dunkin Donuts).
Keynote – Today kicks off with “Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixty: The Roots of Rock & Roll and 1950s America” by our keynote speaker Richard Aquila at 8am.
Exhibit Hall Opens – After the Keynote, head to the Grand Opening of the Exhibit Hall.
Tracks – Genealogy Sessions start at 11am and include the following tracks: Records, Methodologies, Ethnic Origins, European, Transportation, Genetics, Midwestern and Neighboring States, and NARA/Federal.
War of 1812 Q & A Session featuring Craig Roberts Scott and J. Mark Lowe at 2pm.
Extended Exhibit Hall Hours and Society Showcase Live – The exhibit hall opens today at 9:30 am and closes at 7:30pm. Door prize giveaways and Society Showcase Live! will be taking place during our extended evening hours (5pm to 7:30pm). Join venders for special product demos.
