Society Showcase: Ohio Genealogical Society and GenEx2014
The Ohio Genealogical Society invites you to experience the thrill of a genealogical hunt at GenEx2014, our 53rd annual conference, to be held 30 April–3 May 2014 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Sandusky, Ohio. For three days, attendees will be given the opportunity to hone their skills for tracking ancestors by experienced genealogical safari guides. In the evenings, attendees can relax by the warm waters inside America's largest waterpark or participate in some new, exciting activities and events. Besides educational opportunities, attendees will be able to explore an exhibit hall that will be at the heart of the conference. Whether you are just beginning your family search or have experienced many genealogical hunts, GenEx2014 will bring together a diverse ensemble of nationally known speakers and attendees for a unique and adventuresome experience. To learn more about joining us on this “genealogical expedition,” plan on visiting the GenEx2014 table during Society Showcase Live! on Thursday evening of the FGS conference. Enter to win a gift basket with Kalahari goodies and even pick up some cool giveaways. Stay tuned to the GenEx2014 website for expedition updates and be sure to follow us on Twitter @GenEx2014 and on Facebook. So, get ready to pack your trunk and be prepared to research in the wild, because your passport to the past awaits you at GenEx2014.
