Photo Grafix Returns to FGS
It was only two years ago when Eric Basir of Photo Grafix had the privilege to present three packed workshops for the Federation of Genealogical Societies 2011 Conference in Springfield, Illinois. Now, he’s back—at FGS 2013 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Eric C.M. Basir owns a photo-retouching studio in Evanston, IL. Since 2001, he has served the genealogical community, teaching the many facets of photo restoration. He is the author of two books and the creator of a “Photo Retouching and Restoration Foundations” video course. He is also a member of the Genealogical Speakers Guild.
During the week of August 21-24, he is scheduled for one Workshop and two classes. The workshop, Friday's "Scanning+Image Editing+Placement" is already sold out, and a waiting list is being created.
But two of the classes are still open, and you might want to arrange your schedule to attend Friday's "Image Organization Made Easy," or his classic beginner’s workshop, "Scanning 101" on Saturday.
- F-319 Image Organization Made Easy Friday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- S-419 Scanning 101 Saturday 11:00 a.m. To 12:00 p.m.
- The normal price of the “Photo Retouching and Restorations Foundations” course will be reduced from $199.95 to $179.95 at the Photo Grafix Exhibit Table 221.
- Go to the Photo Grafix Exhibit Table 221, sign up on the email list and receive $5 off any one video purchase at the conference, including the specially priced Foundations course.
